PTR servers are unstable so why say "Oh brand new META." Granted The Hydra wiz is very OP right now. Yea i pretty much tell all the youtubers saying R6 gen monk is being replaced by the SM6 Impaler DH, that PTR doesn't dictate the META. If anyone of the top players tells you what the S10 meta is, they'll be trolling you they know better. Don't ask for them, don't listen to them. But anyone who will now tell you "THIS IS THE S10 META FOR SURE" is an absolutely bloody fool.
Same every season.Ĭurrently it's assumed that the meta is sup barb, sup monk, WD for trash, and either monk, wiz, or DH for the RG (all three seem to be viable). Pick any class you like, or whatever your group wants you to pick.
You're not pushing on day 1 or in week 1 of the season you're speedfarming. In the first few days and weeks, the meta is *not* the same as the final season push meta. You can ask about the meta a few weeks into the season. And there won't be until PTR goes down, because Blizzard recently started to make meta-impacting changes post-PTR. There's simply not enough testing to give any definitive answer about the S10 meta. Made top 20 on PTR, so it must be meta, right? RIGHT? RIGHT? Melt the Rift Guardian by keeping your distance, keep Squirt's Necklace, and extra damage buffs from Nilfur's Boast, Bane of the Stricken and Triune Rings.This is a screenshot from 4 man leaderboard on PTR taken a minute ago: Tal Rasha's Elements stacks should be maintained pretty smoothly with this build. Immediately afterward Teleport into any Oculus Ring or Triune Rings that spawn from Mother. Spam your Meteor s to deal damage and to reset your Teleport Cooldown from the Tal Rasha's Elements (4) Piece Bonus. Follow the zBarb by using Teleport paying attention to your Convention of Elements cycle.
Keeps distance from the pulls created by the zBarb to be safe and to benefit from Power Hungry and Zei's Stone of Vengeance. Magic Weapon Conduit combined with Vigor from the Altar of Rites allows you to spam Meteor Star Pact in huge groups of monsters that are pulled together by the zBarb. The Meteor version of the set is back and stronger than ever now! It does tremendous AoE and decent single target damage with Nilfur's Boast and Bane of Stricken melting even the Rift Guardian on the highest tiers. Tal Rasha's Elements is probably the most iconic Wizard set in the Diablo franchise, originating from Diablo II where it was the Sorceress set.
